The Caen Experiment

The town of Caen has been a pioneer in the ecological struggle against "harmful" insects.

Since 1981 they have carried out a ladybird breeding programme under the supervision of the INRA (National Institute for Agronomic Research which has research stations in Antibes and Valbonne).

A number of ladybird eggs are distributed to people in Caen and in the region.

You can also obtain eggs from specialist organic product companies and in garden centres in your area.
